Preface
This guide is primarily intended to be used by people that are very new to buying body safe sex toys. I typically link it to people who have never even purchased their first silicone toy, or those first venturing into fantasy toys.
If you are already a toy collector, please realize that you are not necessarily the target audience of this guide and that it may not be as in-depth as you'd prefer.
It is a starting point and is absolutely not all-encompassing by any means. It is not meant to be the be-all and end-all guide to every possible shop that is good or bad. If a shop is not listed anywhere here, I recommend you do your own research on them.
Top recommended mainstream stores
These shops stock only body safe toys! (With a few exceptions for toys made for external use only)
Mainstream stores I tentatively recommend
These shops sell lots of great body safe toys, but they also offer toys that are made of cheaper materials. Check materials carefully and avoid anything that isn't silicone, glass, stainless steel, or ABS plastic.
Mainstream stores to avoid
These retailers have shady business practices, stock a large amount of products that are made of sketchy & potentially toxic materials, and/or have been caught mislabeling toy materials (ex, claiming unsafe jelly or rubber is safe silicone)
Fantasy & indie toy makers I recommend
These shops sell high quality toys that are body safe and made of high quality silicone.
Personally blacklisted fantasy stores / brands / makers
Their toys may technically be silicone or other safe materials, but I refuse to buy from these people for one reason or another. These are personal opinions, many of which are based on personal experience; don't feel obligated to listen to me!
