Reggae With Love.

Reggae is well known in New Zealand. New Zealand  plays  host to some of the most popular reggae events in the world such as One Love and Raggamuffin. Bob Marley has sold over twenty million albums, a lot of albums would of been sold in New Zealand. Bob marley is one of my favourite singers because one of my favourite songs is Three Little Birds. Bob marley is a wonderful singer he makes people happy and relaxed, unfortunately he died by toe cancer and melanoma. One of my favourite sayings is overcome the devil with a thing called love.

Bob Marley is most popular for his music. The song that most people voted for was No Woman No Cry But I would of voted Little Birds. Bob Marley’s last song that was recorded was Redemption song. Bob Marley is a talented person I wish another singer comes along like him.

Bob Marley died from melanoma and cancer. He got the toe cancer after playing a game of soccer. Bob Marley thought it was going to keep on healing but instead it got worse. When he first arrived in Miami Florida he was rushed to a hospital.

Bob Marley smoked marijuana because he practiced the rastafarian religion. He smoked marijuana  to open his mind to Jah and had a great influence to his music. This was a traditional rastafarian belief, however it is now more commonly practiced for recreational purposes.  Most people do not know the religious connection to the use of cannabis, for the Rastafarian culture.

I would like to conclude with the following quote,  as food for thought about the rastafarian culture: “Overcome the devil with a thing called love”.
