In class we watched a documentary on How William Shatner Changed the world and how it made people have better ideas about newer technology. They put a documentary on discovery channel in 2005.

     Star Trek influenced the inventor of the cell phone, Martin Cooper to invent it. The cell phone evolved from 40 ounces to current weight of 4 ounces or less.  They got the idea from the ‘Telecommunicator’ off of Star Trek.

        Star Trek influenced the inventor of computer they helped make better technology in the computer the first was a big blue box.It helped people like Steve Jobs with Apple and Bill Geter with Micrsoft.

     Virtual reality is another advancement in technology that Star Trek influenced.  It’s a stimulation that gives you a virtual reality.  You experience virtual taste, touch, smell and sound. Star Trek
