[1] On 16 February 1904, Elizabeth Caroline Hope (18851964) married the 5th Marquis of Lansdowne’s eldest son, Lieutenant-Colonel Henry William Edmund Petty-Fitzmaurice, Earl of Kerry (18721936), later 6th Marquis of Lansdowne, who succeeded to the title in 1927.
