PORT OF LONDON AUTHORITY.

At a luncheon in the board room of the Port of London Authority yesterday, Lord Ritchie of Dundee, chairman of the Authority, on behalf of present and past members of the Authority, presented Vìscount Devonport, who was chairman of the Authority from its inception to March 31 last, with a piece of silver as a mark of their personal regard for him and of their recognition of the conspicuous services rendered by him to the Port of London during the sixteen years of his chairmanship.

A portrait of Viscount Devonport by Mr. de Laszlo [4570] has been hung in the board room, and it was unveiled at the same time by Lord Ritchie.
