Prerequisite: None. 

This course studies the child from the prenatal stage and infancy through the teen-age years. The physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and moral development of the child will be explored. Parenting skills will also be discussed and studied. This is an excellent class for anyone looking toward a career in the medical field, social work, psychology, teaching, or future parents. All instructional hours and teaching experience hours may be used toward a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.
