Overall, as you can see from my email, Canada’s statement is very unbalanced. The statement fails horribly in condemning Israel for its genocide against the Palestinians, including the points noted above. It is also important to note that many Canadians, such as Ahmed Kouta are still stuck in Gaza. Canadians also have extended family members who are stuck in Gaza. While I acknowledge and welcome immigrant measures for extended family members in Gaza, I don’t understand what’s taking so long to put this into action? I’m looking forward to hearing from you in response to all my questions, an updated statement that’s more balanced to the Palestinian side, and immediate actions in place to bring Canadians and families of Canadians stuck in Gaza.
