Have you ever experienced depression? Have your family members or friends experienced depression? Are you currently suffering from depression? What does that feel like to you? Use the utilities in this space to EXPRESS how that feels or how it looks through writing, drawing, painting, collage, or whatever feels right to you. This is a free space to let go and create! All work will be anonymous unless participants would like otherwise.

Do you have a lonely sock that you've been keeping for a long time hoping that the other one will show up but it doesn't? Do you have an old mug that you don't want any longer but you don't really want to get rid of for nothing? Do you believe you can find little treasures in swaping objects? Please bring whatever you want to get rid of (not broken and clean, please) and swap it for something else. Here is a very good Sustainable Solution. CHEFS’ BATTLE

Sustainable Solutions will host a Chef Battle where 3 Chefs will be challenged to prepare a meal in a limited time and with constraints. Come see them compete but most importantly come have fun and learn new super yummy recipes with local products from a professional chef

Los Angeles native and Bali based songstress Leanna Rachel weaves together vocals dripping with emotion, acoustic guitar, guitarlele, and mbira to create ethereal ballads.

Soulful, classic songwriting steeped in folklore, woven into a dreamlike mood, she elicits both authenticity and mystery, fragility and strength.

Leanna has performed at The Viper Room, Hotel Cafe and The Whiskey in Los Angeles, and has performed at clubs and festivals in New York, Sweden, Australia (Woodford Folk Festival), Bali, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, alongside José González, Little Dragon, Bonobo and Angus & Julia Stone.

Leanna Rachel's debut EP, "Moonrise" was released in April 2016 and is produced and arranged by KCRW radio DJ and remixer Jeremy Sole (Femi Kuti, David Bowie). "Moonrise" features many of Los Angeles' talented natives: Brandon Eugene Owens (Stevie Wonder, Ms. Lauryn Hill), Derf Reklaw (Etta James, Jackie Wilson) Tracy Wannomae (Meshell Ndegeocello, Ziggy Marley), Thomas Lea (Rhye, Yuna), Dexter Story (Quadron, The Gaslamp Killer), Emile Hassan Dyer (Babatunde Olatunji, Bobby McFerrin), and Damon Aaron (Breakestra), to name a few. The single from the EP, "Follow" was released via Rolling Stone Indonesia.

Dunia Ketiga

DUNIA KETIGA was formed in 2008 by Kacir Maitakai(voice, acoustic guitar), Doddy Juli Sagara(lead acoustic guitar)and Cepi Kusmiadi(percussions, toys). DUNIA KETIGA bird is a figure that appears in traditional songs from many places including parts of Indonesian. So DUNIA KETIGA was an appropriate emblem for a band comited to drawing inspiration from a wide musical territory that includes Western, European, and Indonesian Folk songs.

DUNIA KETIGA music starts with a modern take on folk traditions strong melodies, acoustic instruments, and relevant lyrics. It then stretches that sound along various threads from around the world, including world music. The sound is acoustic but cohesive because of the musical history between the members. This unique sound is propelled by an array of instruments that blend together well, but are also flexible enough to allow for unexpected arrangements.

DUNIA KETIGA has performed on Laughing Buddha Bar Monkey Forest Road Ubud-Bali, SoSuperclub rooftop Anantara Hotel Seminyak Kuta-Bali, Unique Rimba Ayana Resorts and spa, The Rock Bar Ayana, and The band continues to perform at festivals, performing arts centers, folk clubs, wedding party, and major dance events everywhere.

Rizal Abdulhadi

Rizal & the Rasendriya

Roaring, honest and endearing, Rizal Abdulhadi is a uniquely talented multi-instrumentalist, folk singer, songwriter, instrument builder and social activist from West Java, Indonesia. He dedicates his music and career towards creating real social change and promoting creativity; both in Indonesia and globally.

Rizal harnessed his knowledge of Bamboo material to develop his unique and innovative instrument called the Rasendriya. It combines guitar with didgeridoo and celempung (percussion). further exploring the use of bamboo for instruments, Rizal’s latest project is his Bamboo Lapsteel Guitar & Strings instrument.

MIDDLE SCHOOL / HIGH SCHOOL / KKC PERFORMANCE - RAMAYANA

A marriage.  An exile.  A kidnapping.  A woman’s struggle against a monster.  
A quest to find her and a battle to save the world from a powerful demon!

Riot Act Theatre Co. and the Green School invite you to see an original

production of—  The Ramayana.

This bi-lingual production uses a mix of styles—

from puppets and masks, to comedy and movement in a visual and

physical telling of this ancient love story.  

Created by our students in high school, middle school, and the

Kul-Kul Connection, “The Epic & Lamentable Love Story of

Rama & Sinta” will be performed at the Green School 2 nights only!

Afterward they set sail on the BioBus Traveling Road Show,

taking three GS bio-busses to East Java to perform the show and

educate Bio-Solar made from used cooking oil.  

Come support the arts, help make the tour a success,

and share in this unique mix of Indonesian/International culture.
