Purpose	ACCESS 2.0 is an English language proficiency assessment based on the Minnesota Standards for English Language Development. There are four language domains assessed reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Current Use of Data	Inform classroom teaching and learning. Identifies concepts and skills that need improvement so teachers can alter methods of instruction or adjust instructional time devoted to a specific concept or skill. Assess student knowledge and skills relative to the respective EL and MN academic standards. Inform curriculum review needs/priorities. Compare our performance across schools and districts.
