3 | Exploring Frameworks | Guiding Educators to Enhance and Transform Digital Learning and Teaching
| How will TPACK /SAMR shape the kinds of questions you ask those you coach? or co-plan? What methods will you use to gather this information? What strategies might you use during coaching to help grow other’s TPACK? | 1)Assess ability and level as regards technology 2) Start working on the new tools 3) Observe and help teachers who are starting using the new tools 4) Provide feedback and support in my blog
| - Padlet TPACK/SAMR activity - Teacher Channel coaching videos “It’s About the Questions” article -ISTE resources | Group and 1-1 discussions Formal and informal meeting with the staff and discuss about what needs improving or what did not work Teachers’ self-assessment Google-forms collected during the school year |
Unit 3 Reflection | What did you learn about yourself as you explored the TPACK and SAMR models?
Technology is important but learning requires the work carried out by educators who work on a pedagogical level and are aware that learning can vary and we do need to copy with different needs. TPACK and SAMR models were really useful. |

4 | Coaching Digital Learning Assessments | What strategies, frameworks, or rubrics will you use as guidance in selecting digital tools/resources to use in your work? | Rubrics are useful but they need to be organized and we do need to know what the aim of a test/ oral control is. Thus we can choose the right tool if we have agreed about what we want to achieve by the end of a module/ activity ( which skill? Which competence?) |
Rubistar Google Forms Socrative I liked Kathy Shrock’s rubric List and I will try to learn more about them | You need to be able to assess tools and resources so that your progress will continue and have a development. |
Unit 4 | Deep Reflection | What insights have you gained upon completing the Transformational Coaching Rubric?
I am not a coach, I am a teacher who interested in digital literacy. I am aware that the coach plays an important role in education and needs to be able to reflect and think about the best ways for working with teachers and support them. |

It is important to know about safety online and the new skills our students need to acquire. The role of the coach is crucial to start a new learning process among teachers who will start working in class in a different way. |

|
PLANNING WITH THE END IN MIND | NEXT STEPS
HABITS OF MIND
Based on your reflection and notes above, consider these HABITS OF MIND and your plan of action.
AREA OF FOCUS | QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER | PLAN OF ACTION | OBSERVABLE/ MEASURABLE RESULTS |
BUILDING YOUR CULTURE | THOUGHT FRAMEWORKS | What models for digital learning and teaching do you endorse, model and share with your stakeholders? What are the two to three biggest changes in our society in the past 25 to 30 years? How will this impact your students? What are two or three skills your students need in order to address these changes in society? Looking at the skills you listed in answering the previous questions, how intentional is your school in helping your students, you your teachers for that matter, develop these skills? How do you talk directly to your staff? your students? parents? to discover their expectations for digital learning and teaching? | Everybody is now aware that DIGITAL SKILLS are important not only at school but also at home and at work. A month? | On line presence and great support for educators Write in blogs/websites/forums Sharing ideas and materials Use Twitter, blogs for communicating and working on new tools | Increase my PLN Work on Professional Development |
CULTURE OF LEARNING & TEACHING | CONNECT CONTENT PD TO TECHNOLOGY | Having professional development just on technology tools does not make sense… it is not about the technology, it’s about learning…. How will you think about accountability to measure more of the “things that matter” to your stakeholders in this initiative? How have you communicated directly to your staff about their Professional Development needs? What standards are most important to your staff? How do you make PD opportunities relevant and timely? Is your PD formal or informal, face-to-face or virtual? What strategies do you have for connecting Content PD with the 4Cs, with TPACK, with SAMR? | Formal and informal communication and sharing ideas Work on PD in school and also in the community | Surveys Sharing and presenting materials, activities carried out Conferences, PD in schools and shared among teachers teaching the same subjects |
