The ethical code I follow comes from Reiki: all that it has taught me, shown me and all that there is, is truly how I have been successful in my Reiki career. Reiki has assisted me to not just be a “good person.” It has helped me (and continues to help me) be a better person--the best version of myself--every day.

When you are consciously living the best version of yourself every day (even if there are setbacks) abundance, success, health, love..all good things will come your way. Reiki teaches that we are magnets. I only have a successful Reiki business from practicing and living all that Reiki is every day: that is, living and aligning with only positive energy.

Reiki has taught me (and in return) has created the following Code of Ethics for my business as a Reiki Practitioner. I have created this list from only my heart space as that is where true ethical behavior resides:

One:

I must live the attitude of gratitude:

• I must be grateful for every client and student the universe gives me and vow to give them the greatest experience I am capable of.
• I must be thankful for every Reiki experience as all are priceless lessons and gifts from the universe.
• I must continue to stay grateful for my hands and the awareness of this energy medicine.
• I must use this gratitude to continue to better myself and the world through using this knowledge and continuing to expand my knowledge in this field.

Two:

I must let go of anger:

• I must use the Reiki to release the negative and lower vibration of anger from myself and my clients on all called occasions replacing the anger with love.
• I must be gentle with myself (and remind my clients to be gentle with themselves) if this vibration comes back.
• I must remember that anger is a human emotion but love is the only thing that is real. I must chose to live in the vibration of love not anger.

Three:

I must let go of fear:

• I must use the Reiki to release the negative and lower vibration of fear from myself and my clients on all called occasions replacing the anger with love.

Four:

I must do my work honestly.

• I must stick to my commitments not canceling or inconveniencing my clients for my own personal pleasure.
• I must practice what I preach.
• I must live and show Reiki and its power every day.
• I must offer exactly what I advertise.
• I must believe in what I am selling.
• I must stay truthful to myself and this practice.

Five:

I must respect all things.

• My business practices must respect all things, all people and every action of Reiki in every way.

Six:

I must live just for today.

• I vow to not worry about the future or past but instead live in the moment providing the most profound and ethical experiences for my clients.
• I vow to live in the here and now.

Seven:

Like energy attracts like energy:

• I must be righteous in all business practices and collaborations and righteousness will follow me.
• I must give from my heart and soul and my  clients will receive from this same place.
• Positive and pure energy is the only place to live. I must give the Reiki medicine to clients in the purest, most dedicated way. There is no other purpose of this client-practitioner interaction than to share the energy medicine that is Reiki.

Eight:

I must practice synergy, valuing myself and the Reiki always giving from an open heart as this is where we shall receive much more than we can ever give in this place.

• I must value my clients time and energy and they shall do the same.
• I must create balanced boundaries with my giving so as to not be taken advantage of. I will never take advantage of a client and in return they will not take advantage of me.
• I will give and receive equally in terms of energy exchange for every Reiki session I complete.
• I will always give purely and abundantly: the best that I can in the moment. The universe rewards this pureness ten fold.
