Don't forget Pastor Bill and Pastor Tim are flip-flopping campuses from last week. What does that mean? If you attended one campus last weekend, don't switch to the other campus this weekend or you will hear the same sermon!
On June 27, the bi-annual congregational meeting was held at the St. Peter campus. We listened to reports from our pastors and staff that highlighted the many ways that God has and continues to bless at 922 Ministries. The congregation gave their approval on four key things:
If you have any questions or would like more information regarding the meeting, please reach out to Pastor Tim (email@example.com) or Nate Paul (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Lighthouse Youth Center on the Ave (CORE Campus)
For 16 years, Lighthouse Youth Center has been reaching out to neighborhood youth (ages 10-18) by providing a safe, structured place for youth to gather, have fun, get help with their homework, and most importantly learn about the love of Jesus! On July 10th, Pastor Buske will be presenting the history, facts, goals, timetable and objectives for the partnership between 922 Ministries and Lighthouse Youth Center. Come and ask your questions and see how you might be able to get involved. LYC is so excited for this partnership with you!
FAMILY FUEL NIGHTS – Get fed both physically and spiritually during a fun and faith-focused night! Save your Tuesday evenings in July! This summer, 922 Ministries will be offering opportunities for you and your family to exercise your Group and Grow Roots. These events will have something for all ages and are being offered with the intent of “come to one or come to all” depending on your schedule.
Each evening will kick off with a meal for the whole family. After the meal, we’ll gather together for a few songs and announcements. Then, small kids (ages 1-4) can be dropped off for CORE Kids. Older kids (4-10) will be dismissed for Bible stories, activities, and games, and a discussion panel will be offered for teens and adults.

This fall, our church will launch a new ministry for moms! 922 Moms is a biblically-based parenting program, centered around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationships with their families. Moms will receive practical teaching on parenting through a carefully selected curriculum, as well as supportive interaction in small groups led by experienced mothers. Plus, quality childcare will be provided for children ages 5 and under! Gatherings will take place every other Wednesday at The CORE, beginning September 7. Registration begins July 12th. Watch for more details coming soon!
School Supply Drive: During the month of July, we have partnered with Kingdom Workers Foster Support Program to gather school supplies for youth in foster care in Outagamie & Calumet counties. We are collecting new school supplies that families will receive at their foster care picnic in August: Crayola markers (washable, classic colors); Crayola crayons and colored pencils (24ct); Ticonderoga No. 1 pencils; large Pink Pearl erasers; Elmer’s washable glue & glue sticks; poly folders (2 pocket, no prongs); wide-ruled notebooks; composition notebooks; highlighters; sticky notes; water bottles; backpacks (for children & teens). A collection box will be available at church beginning July 3. Any questions? Reach out to Chelsea Wilms at email@example.com.
Do you follow us on Facebook? If you do, you will notice we have merged our CORE and St. Peter pages together for more efficient communication. In order to do this, we also updated the name to 922 Ministries – St. Peter & The CORE.
WON TO BE ONE - WELS Women’s Ministry Conference - Register Here!
July 21-23, 2022 (Thursday – Saturday) - Luther Preparatory School, 1300 Western Avenue, Watertown, Wisconsin
Have you longed for healing in our shattered, fragmented world? Do you feel detached and torn because everyone is at odds? Why can’t we get along? The world is desperately searching for solutions, but it can’t find the answer. These longings can only be fulfilled as we dig into Scripture and learn God’s truth.
Join women from every walk of life at the WELS Women’s Ministry Conference July 21-23, 2022. As we study Ephesians we’ll learn to cultivate unity that begins with grace for me and grace for others. When we start here, we can identify barriers that get in the way, stand firm on Scripture in the face of conflict, and extend grace in our everyday relationships. As Christians we are Won to be One.
If anyone is interested in carpooling or organizing plans as a group, please contact Krystine Lindemann who will be the 922 point of contact. (Krystine.firstname.lastname@example.org)
Series Summary: Jesus’ friend Peter and Jesus’ half-brother Jude lived long enough to see the early Christian church face some tremendous challenges from within and from without. Driven by love, they wrote two short and similar letters packed with tough love and tender compassion, letters that God wanted us to read today. In the 21st century, Jesus’ followers still face tremendous challenges from within and from outside of their walls. How will we remain faithful? How will we not compromise? How will we find joy in a messed-up world? Peter and Jude know, and they can’t wait to tell us.

You can make an eternal difference in the life of a student from around the world. Reach out to Monica Uhlenbrauck (email@example.com) to learn more about this opportunity for your family.

The construction has been steadily progressing on our school expansion. It provides much excitement during the day, and the students enjoy looking out the windows to see the work being done. So that our 922 families and friends can stay updated with the construction progress, we have installed a camera which will provide a 24/7 livestream to be able to view the work being done. That livestream is accessible on our website and feel free to share the direct link with family and friends interested in seeing the progress over the next several months.
