922 Church Online - upcoming events
In connection with the Community Blood Center, The CORE is hosting a Blood Drive on Sunday, October 3rd from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We are in need of donors, so schedule your spot today!
On Sunday, October 3rd 9:00am, Pastor Tom Mielke, WELS Christian Giving Counselor for our Northern Wisconsin District, will be offering a presentation on the importance of a will and estate planning for you and your family. Learn how you can use God’s blessings to care for your family and to do the Lord’s work, even after you are in heaven! Make plans to attend this special presentation at 9am in our Ministry Center. It will also be repeated on Tuesday, October 5th at 6:30pm.
All of our worship services at 922 are currently mask optional. Yet we know that some of our members are in the at risk categories or simply feel safer at home right now and are choosing to worship on-line. As a result, we want to once again provide a communion option for those that are staying at home. Starting October 6th, the St. Peter campus will implement a mid-week communion service where all attendees will be required to wear masks. This service will take place at 10 a.m. on the Wednesdays prior to the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. If you have any questions, please reach out to Pastor Jim at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Let's get together and have some fall fun! It's almost time for Trunk or Treat and October 23rd will be here before we know it. This year along with the Trunk or Treating, we will also have carnival games and a caramel apple bar - family fun for everyone!
Help make it the best year yet by signing up to volunteer - host/decorate a trunk, take photos, facilitate games, and more! You can sign up using this Planning Center link.
Candy donations are also welcome (and appreciated!) Please bring your candy donations to the main school office or church from now until October 10th and place them in the orange buckets.
It's not too late to do life together this fall. Select Life Groups are still open for you to join. Some of these offerings include: Mental Health, Financial Peace University, and Christian Recovery. If one of these would be beneficial to you, please sign up here.

Series Summary: In a world that feels increasingly unsettled and angry, t-shirts and social media posts encourage us all to “be kind” or “choose kindness.” The Bible not only agrees with that message, but adds, “Be joyful, peaceful, patient, and self-controlled.” However, God does not leave us with a simple command to achieve these near- impossible ideals, but rather gives us Jesus and sends us his Spirit. The Trinity, working together in us, begins to change us from the inside out. Or, as we sometimes say around church, “Jesus Roots Produce the Spirit’s Fruits.” (Dates: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10)
