St. Patrick 2017 Pictorial Directory

St. Patrick’s Altar and Rosary would like to invite all parishioners to participate in a new Church Directory for 2017.  This directory will also include  St. Mary of the Visitation, Ottumwa   and     St.  Mary Magdalen of Bloomfield.

The Lifetouch photography company will be here at St. Patrick during the month of November 2017.  They will be located in the parish hall.

You will be receiving a recorded phone call from a parish member to announce the program.  Then another call will be made to those who have not already scheduled their appointment.

Sign-up dates at St. Patrick after all Masses will be:

7, 8, 14 and 15 October

Those unable to leave their home or are in a nursing home will have the opportunity to have their photo taken at those locations by a parish member.

If you bring in a non-perishable food item when you come for your photo session, you will receive a coupon for $5.00 off your Lifetouch order. These items will be given to a local organization.

Tuesday, 14 November - 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, 15 November – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursday, 16 November – 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Friday, 17 November – 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, 18 November - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Monday, 20 November – 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Tuesday, 21 November – 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Wednesday, 22 November – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


If for some reason you are unable to sign up for any of the dates scheduled, you can call Lifetouch at 1-866-756- 0281 - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tell them what town and parish you are from, and they will try to schedule you at a nearby parish or town. Be sure to tell them the St. Patrick photo background color is caramel.  (The appointment needs to be scheduled no later than two weeks after our last day of photography of 22 November 2017).

There is no sitting fee, no required packages, and no pressure to buy. The background color for this year’s photo is caramel. The previous directory background was blue.

Plan to spend 1-hour for check-in, photo and then selecting the photo you want published. You will receive 1 free  8 x 10 photo and a free directory for participating. If you decide to place an order that day, you will need to pay the photographer.  

Parish members can also have an extended family photo taken with grandchildren and/or parents (after your immediate family photo) that is not for publication.  Just be sure to schedule the extra time when you sign up.

People that are not members of St. Patrick can also have a photo taken.  They will need to schedule an appointment.  They will receive 1 free 8 x 10 photo but will not be published in the directory.  If they order any photos, they will need to pay the photographer that day.

If you had a photo taken for the 2011-2012 directory and you do not want your photo taken this year (if Lifetouch still has the 2012 photo on file), you can have them use that one at a charge of $10.

 Any professional photo you want to submit, not taken by Lifetouch, will require a waiver form signed by the provider.  There will be a $10 charge to submit those.  Those should be given to Mary Leonard at the Church Office at 222 N. Ward St.  Her office hours are 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

One 20% discount offer per family is available for seniors age 60+, current or former military service members and current first responders. The service discount also includes U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard or Reservists, and first responders include: police, firefighters, etc.   Please present proper ID.   Offer valid when purchasing photography products at the organization serviced by Lifetouch Directories and Portraits.  Not valid on reorders. Non-transferable.  Purchaser pays any applicable tax and handling fees.
