Fireside Gatherings (new card back)
A new card back will be available starting April 26th, rewarded for playing three matches with players that are on the same subnet (for example, using the Players Near Me feature). Blizzard is calling this community event "Fireside Gatherings" and has a list of community events for people to attend and engage in furious card-slingage and earn the stained-glass card back as a reward. The card back will be available until an un-announced time, so make sure to find a friend and play in close proximity as soon as possible if you want this card back.

Hunter Deck that got Kolento r1 Legend in NA and EU simultaneously
This deck plays a more control style than the previously popular face hunter. Instead of blindly going for face this deck relies on removal and a few big minions to maintain a tempo advantage and then whittle away with the hero ability before finishing the opponent of with a huge hyena or unleash combo.
Some versions people are playing recently have added leeroy for the extra finishing potential but Kolento removed him early on because he’s a dead card until you can win.
Some version or another has been entered in all of the major tourneys lately including the 2P qualifier win by Savjz. I’ve even seen this deck played with watchers and sunfuries recently.

THIS IS WHY I LISTEN TO YOUR SHOW
I have been listening to you show since day one and have always loved the strategy sections as I am new to card games. Lately you guys have been spending a lot of time talking up Harrison Jones. I recently reached the 1600 dust mark for the 3rd time and liked the idea of it given the card draw and my deck has a serious dearth of 5 drops.
This same day I got Harrison, he paid dividends in the hilarity department immediately. I was in a closely-played ranked match against a shaman with my two little silver hand recruits reporting for duty. I was eagerly awaiting a stormforged axe so i could quickly grab two cards and piss him off with my shiny new legendaddy. Little did I know... out pops doomhammer and I get 6 cards after he swings twice and a whole butt ton of laughs when he immediately threatens me and concedes directly following my hand filling to the brim.

Got one for ya. So there I am derping around with a priest for one of those daily quests. I'm up against a warrior and not doing so well, at around 8 crystals not only has he knocked out everything I've laid down and dropped me to around 16 health, but he still has 3 solid cards on the table and 27 health 4 armor. So its my turn and the only cards I have left are Holy Smite - 2 dmg/1 mana, and Mind Blast - 5 hero dmg/2 mana. Not enough to do anything but at least I draw my Malygos card so maybe I can use smite next turn to kill something before I get my ass handed to me. On my opponents turn he lays down another strong card and proceeds to ignore Malygos and take it straight to my face as I knew he would. I'm down to 2 health and at this point we both know its over... but what's this? I draw my Prophet Velen card, doubling the power of my spells that Malygos already buffed. And at a cost of 7 it left me just enough to cast Holy Smite for 14 and Mind Blast for 20 damage, which I promptly did after a nice "The light shall burn you!" taunt. Shapow!!! What are the odds? I need to start recording this stuff. That poor guy.

So I was playing the Zoo warlock...The opponent was a pally that was also playing aggro. Lost of small minions for both of us that kept getting buffed. It was a battle of strategic clearing of the board and face hitting. Quite a fun match that came down to the wire. He had a couple of 1/1 tokens on the board, and it was my turn.
I top deck a doomguard and go straight to the face, bring him down to 4 health. I think I have it in the bag, but I don't life tap, just in case he has a weapon or a consecrate, I don't want to get myself into lethal range.
He draws Leeroy, but he can't go to my face since I would have lethal next turn, so he kills my doomguard, sends out another token and ends his turn. I draw a cleric and buff one of the whelps his Leeroy gave me, and tickle his face for 2 damage.
He FREAKING TOP DECKS TIRION! I am screwed now, it's over. I can't think of anything else in this deck that might be useful.I have to get past Tirion's divine shield, his 6 health. I basically concede and say, "well played".
Meanwhile, he is spamming "well played", taunting me with whatever Uther says as his taunt...blah blah, being a jerk. Using his whole timer before he ends his turn.
Kind of upset at this point, I have my mouse on my concede icon ready to click, I won't give him the satisfaction of killing me, I will kill myself...low and behold...I DRAW THE BLACK KNIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In game though, I act like I have nothing, just waiting. I am going to return the favor of being a jerk. He is still spamming "well played". I also say "well played" and use my hero power to draw another card, making it seem like I have nothing. I wait until my fuse starts burning, in which I taunt with my "YOUR SOUL SHALL SUFFER"...slam down my black knight, rip Tirion from the board like its nothing, use my whelp to now really smash his face, and say "YOUR SOUL SHALL SUFFER" once again.
Best ending I have ever had. He tried to add me as a friend, but I figured it would be more painful for him that I just ignore him and walk away without turning back.

When a minion attacks and gets misdirected with misdirection, and ends up hitting a hero that has a weapon equipped, that minion will take damage equal to the hero's attack power.
HOWEVER!
If a hunter attacks a warrior that has a weapon equipped, the hunter does not take that damage directly.
Do you think this should change? Do you think it's mad inconsistent that minions take misdirect damage against heroes and not damage when simply attacking a weapon equipped hero?

Hi Chickens!
I was wondering, if you have a card with an effect (knife juggler, demolisher, acolyte of pain, etc.) and you're consistently only getting at most 1 usage out of the card's effect, is that card still worthwhile to have in your deck? How often do cards like that need to proc to be worth it?

I can't believe I didn't realize this before - but I thought I would write in so that others might benefit from what I learned today: you can complete quests in 'casual' mode! I imagine most people are like me and only have one or two decks they feel are strong enough for ladder play. Until now I would complete quests (even after declining some) and fall down the ladder a bit, then spend as much, if not more time climbing back up - very frustrating!
I'm one happy clucker now that I realize I can complete quests in 'casual' play mode (not to be confused with 'practice' mode). I knew, of course, that quests can also be completed in the arena...but ain't nobody got time (which is money!) for that! :P
