Users can choose between receiving personalized ads, which utilize the aforementioned data to enhance ad relevance, or non-personalized ads, which are not based on user behavior. This consent process ensures transparency and user control over personal data.
Revoking Consent: Users who have previously consented to personalized advertising have the right to change their preferences at any time. An “Update Privacy Preferences” option is available within the app’s settings, allowing users to switch to non-personalized ads immediately. Upon revocation, any data previously used for personalization will no longer be applied, and all ads will default to non-personalized content. This change is processed in real-time through Google AdMob’s platform to ensure immediate effect.
AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) Consent for iOS Users: In compliance with Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework, Lite Lists explicitly requests permission from iOS users to track data for advertising purposes. If permission is denied, Lite Lists will serve only non-personalized ads, ensuring that no tracking data is used for ad personalization. This prompt appears upon the app's first launch or when there is a change in consent requirements as mandated by Apple. Users are informed that declining ATT permission does not affect their ability to use the app; however, the ads displayed will be non-personalized and based solely on general app context rather than personal data.
Data Collection: Lite Lists does not collect, store, or process any user data. Any data related to ads is managed solely by Google AdMob in accordance with its own privacy practices, without involvement from our app.
The App is intended for users aged 17 and above due to the inclusion of advertising content. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 17 years old.
