Are you an international postdoc considering career options outside academia? Come and explore:

Industry Leadership Prep Series for International Post doctoral Scholars: Personal Contacts Leads to Hiring

1-3PM on June 17, 2017

The 2-hour workshop will include the presentations and practice sessions on:

  1. Situation Internationals Face in Getting Hired in Private Industry
  2. Ways to get hired
  3. How do I expand my Personal Contacts?

Participants will have an opportunity to practice networking with real professionals and securing contacts from the leading companies in private industry. Seats are limited. Please register by emailing Patricia Phelps at pphelps4@jhmi.edu.

This is a fee based program.  PDCO will sponsor 50% of the cost.  The cost to interested trainees is $40 for the two hour workshop.

Fellowship and Job Opportunities

  • The Hartwell Foundation – Postdoctoral Fellowships for 2017,Internal Deadline: May 15, 2017, Sponsor Deadline: June 30, 2017. For each Nominee selected for the Individual Biomedical Research Award, the sponsoring participating institution will receive a Hartwell Fellowship to fund one postdoctoral candidate selected from areas of biomedical science who exemplifies the values of the Foundation.
