Local Groups Push for Carbon Tax in STATE
New report shows STATE is ripe for tax on climate pollution, providing a key opportunity to reduce emissions despite Trump opposition

CITY, STATE -- Climate advocates in STATE have launched a campaign to persuade state legislators to enact a statewide fee on carbon pollution, following release of a report [LINK TO REPORT] by the Carbon Tax Center that identified STATE as having strong prospects for adopting such a measure, which climate policy experts view as the most effective policy for averting the worst impacts of climate change.
