Troubleshooting / Tips
- Some users have seen problems when copying and pasting their Wyze credentials within TinyCam. Type your username and password with the Android keyboard. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE. Triple check it!
- Test your credentials: Log into the Wyze website with the username and password you are using for TinyCam. If you can’t, your username and/or password are incorrect.
- Some users have seen problems with older firmware. Update your firmware for each camera you want to set up in TinyCam.
- If you are setting up more than one camera each one needs to have its own channel number assigned under the Advanced menu (see step 3c on page 8)
- Channel numbers are in the order each device is in your Wyze app. Example - If you have a Wyze plug first in your app and then a Wyze Cam after it, the Wyze Cam will be channel 2 while the Wyze plug will be channel 1.
- Do not change any other settings. Get your camera up and running with this tutorial settings. After your camera is working then go in and change what you need.
- If your web browser does not connect to your camera feeds make sure you are entering the full URL with HTTP://IPADDRESS:PORT# ex. http://64.233.160.120:8080
