Natalie Marengo--- “Getting my tongue web pierced was a stage in my life. I regret getting my tongue web pierced because when I stretched my tongue, and it hurt.”

Katie Madden--- “I’ve always thought a septum piercing was intriguing. My biggest thing was that it won’t scar and for occasions, I can hide it. When getting a piercing, there could be a very serious reason as to why you either have to or want to get it. Olmeda, Carlos states that he has a disease that connects his ears to his face. “I hated my ears because I was made fun of in school because of my disease. I love gauges, it’s a part of my culture and a fashion statement that I can call my own.” There are also piercings that are convenient to you. Madden, Katie says “I’ve always thought a septum piercing was intriguing. My biggest thing was that it won’t scar and for occasions, I can hide it. I love my septum piercing and it still fascinates me so much. I got it because I just wanted it.”

Piercings can be good, and they can also be bad for you. Sometimes people take it to an extremity and it can be dangerous, but in the end, it’s on your body and they will be apart of your life until death.
