Weapon and Armor Proficiency
In addition to his normal proficiencies, a swordsworn is proficient with a single martial or exotic sword or swordlike weapon of his choice.

AC Bonus
A swordsworn only receives this bonus while wielding his chosen weapon.

Defensive Flurry (Ex)
Whenever the swordsworn takes a full attack action with his chosen weapon, he may elect to take a -2 on all of his attack rolls in order to gain a single parry, as per the Duelist class feature, as though he had elected not to take one of his attacks. At 8th level, the swordsworn gains one additional parry, albeit at a -5 penalty. At 15th level, the swordsworn gains a third parry, albeit at a -10 penalty. This ability replaces flurry of blows.

Unarmed Strike
A swordsworn does not deal increased damage with his unarmed strike. Instead, the monk’s normal unarmed strike damage progression is added as bonus precision damage to attacks with the swordsworn’s chosen weapon. This damage is not multiplied on a critical hit. This bonus does not apply when the swordsworn is wearing armor, using a shield, or carrying a medium or heavy load.

Bonus Feat
A swordsworn replaces the normal monk bonus feats with the following: Cleave, Combat Reflexes, Distance Thrower, Dodge, Shield Focus, Two-Handed Thrower, and Weapon Focus. At 6th level, the following feats are also available: Great Cleave, Missile Shield, Saving Shield, Shield of Swings, Shield Specialization, Vital Strike, and Weapon Specialization. At 10th level, the following feats are added: Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Shield Focus, Improved Vital Strike, and Ray Shield

Shielding Sword
A swordsworn treats his chosen weapon as a light steel shield with an AC bonus of 0 for the purposes of his bonus feats. This ability replaces stunning fist.

Ki Focus
At 4th level, a swordsworn may apply the benefits of his ki strike to his chosen weapon. This ability replaces slow fall.

Ethereal Blade
At 7th level, a swordsworn gains a +4 bonus to CMD against disarm and sunder combat maneuvers while wielding his chosen weapon. This ability replaces wholeness of body.
