HOME ACTIVITY SUGGESTIONS
This week we experienced contrasting high and low sounds and movements. Learning in contrasts in pairing high and low helps children to understand in context. Using more than one sense (visual, kinesthetic, auditory, oral) will increase learning and understanding of these new concepts.
1) Suggested Activities:
- Lap Bounce High & Low
- Enjoy making crazy sounds and moving your baby high and low to match.
- Lap Bounce while singing “la la Hello”
- Intentional Touch “My Sweet Baby”
- Exercise to “Once I Saw A Little Bird”
- Ball Play Up & Down and High & Low

4) Listen - listen - listen to your NEW music. Familiarize your baby (and yourself) with some of the songs we will be singing over the next few weeks by listening to your class music in the car, at Grandma’s, the sitter, everywhere! Do you already have a favorite tune?
