Our School Council has organized another fundraising evening at the McDonald’s at 1250 Stittsville Main Street, on Wednesday, February 8th. Between 4 and 8 pm, present the form that will be sent home with the students this week, and 20% of the total of your meal purchase will go towards supporting School Council initiatives. Purchases can be made in the McDonald’s or at the Drive-thru. This scheduled event will proceed as scheduled.
The St. Stephen Green Team is continuing to encourage all students to bring in Litterless lunches. Each time a student brings a litterless lunch to school, their name will be entered in a draw to win a weekly Eco-friendly prize. More information can be found at:
While it is a Snow Day, Mazzola will still be making their food order delivery for today's scheduled Lunch. We were told that parents can cancel orders on the Mazzola website for students who are not at school this morning.
A reminder that while the buses are cancelled on Snow Days, the school does remain open. For information on potential snow days, please check the school site or Twitter Account. Any students that are dropped off at the start of the day are to be picked up by a parent/caregiver at the office at 3pm. Have a great day and please drive safely.
A reminder that some parents/guardians will have received a notice from Ottawa Public Health (OPH) advising them that their child’s immunization records are incomplete. If you have received such a notice, please be advised that your child will be suspended from school beginning on Thursday, February 9th, and will be unable to return until OPH advises the school that he/she may be readmitted. If you have any questions, please contact Ottawa Public Health at 613-580-6744.
First Communion and Reconciliation
Yesterday, the message that was sent out regarding a cancelled First Communion and Reconciliation meeting should have said Holy Redeemer Parish, rather than Holy Spirit Parish. We are sorry for causing any confusion.
