North Carolina Concealed Carry Course Phase I and II
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

Description: The North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun (NCCCH) course provides students with the NC Department of Justice required training program in the use of deadly force, carrying a concealed handgun, and demonstration of proficiency in the use of their handgun. This course is provided in two phases on two consecutive Saturdays (see dates below). Phase I is the Safety and Pistol Handling portion of the Concealed Carry requirements. Phase II covers North Carolina law and the shooting qualification for the NCCCH course completion certificate. The course completion certificate is required to apply to your county Sheriff for your concealed carry permit.

If the student does not have access to their own handgun, SWGC will provide a handgun and ammunition for use during the Phase I portion of this course. However, students must provide and use their own handgun, factory ammunition and holster or other carrying device for the Phase II portion of this course. You should plan for at least 100 rounds of ammunition in total (50+ for Phase I and 50+ for Phase II).

SWGC offers small classes to allow individual focus and more time on the range to ensure skills proficiency, adequately provide firearm presentation practice and drills, and extended concentration on the legal aspects of using deadly force.

Upon successful completion of the SWGC NCCCH course, the student will receive the certificate needed to apply for a NC Concealed Carry Permit. Each student will also receive an NRA Basic Pistol certification.
