Dear Mrs. De Laszlo.
I am adding a few lines to Carola’s to thank you both and to say I’m so sorry that you had to pay so much postage — I had great difficulty here with the post but finally arranged to send it registered for 75 centimes — I see you had to pay more than 2fs.[1]

I’m so sorry — I suppose an autograph book is something exceptional —
I hope your husband’s leg is now alright. I am sending this to London as I don’t know yr foreign address after you leave Wiesbaden —
The Bradley Keilers have just arrived at the Hotel — he is a wonderful pianist and were he in want of funds he could play professionally anywhere he

delights us all here and there. They live in Paris — but are Americans — We are having our ordinary sort of life — occasional expeditions for sport and nights bridge.
I was going above Les avants for ski-ing today — but the weather broke boisterous.
