New Zealand Flag Change

Prime Minister John Key has raised conversation about changing the New Zealand national flag. He wants to hold a referendum (vote) to see what New Zealanders think of this idea. We have had this flag since 1869 so for some people it's a big deal to keep it because they fought under the flag and it's close to their heart. Other people, however, think it needs a change.
