It is exceedingly kind of you to take so much interest in my exhibition.[1] I feel much flattered by your wish to deal further with it in the “Morning Post” and particularly by your suggestion that I should think of someone who would write a suitable notice. May I suggest to you Mr A.L. Baldry, who was for many years art critic of the “Globe” and who has written much about my work at different times, even years ago before he and I had ever met. I am sure he would deal properly with the particular point you mention, which is, I feel, essential for the right understanding of an artist’s methods, as he is a painter himself and has studied my technique closely. If you care to communicate with him his address is Wolmers Wood, Marlow
