R2D2 was travelling alone down the road. He ______________ some strange sounds, and began to get worried. Suddenly, he was attacked by the Jawas. (The Jawas were short creatures dressed in robes and with shining eyes.) The Jawas stunned R2D2 with a special gun, and loaded him onto their huge vehicle.
In the vehicle, there were all kinds of strange robots that the Jawas had captured. Inside this big vehicle, R2D2 saw his old ______________ C3P0. The two robots were now together again.
Meanwhile, the stormtroopers were searching the planet, looking for the plans. They found the escape ship, and found the tracks. One stormtrooper ______________ something metal. "Look sir, Droids," he said. (Droid means a kind of robot.) The stormtroopers then ______________ that the Droids had the plans they were looking for.
Meanwhile, the Jawas' vehicle arrived at a farm. The Jawas ______________ to sell the robots to the family there. "Will this ______________ end?" C3P0 asked to R2D2.
The family was the Skywalker family. There were three ______________: Luke Skywalker, and his Uncle Owen, and Aunt Beru. Uncle Owen bought C3P0, and another robot. But the other robot ______________, so C3P0 recommended his friend R2D2. "I've ______________ with him before," C3P0 told Luke.
Luke told his uncle. "Uncle Owen, what ______________ that one?"
"Well take ______________ one," said Uncle Owen to the Jawa.
So Uncle Owen bought R2D2 as well. "Don't you ______________ this," C3P0 said to R2D2.
Uncle Owen told Luke, "Take these two to the garage. I want them ______________ up before dinner." Luke was not happy, because he wanted to meet his friends. "You can waste time with your friends when your chores are ______________," Uncle Owen said.
Luke was angry because he couldn't meet his friends. "It just isn't ______________," Luke said to C3P0. Luke wanted to leave the farm and find adventure, but he couldn't because Uncle Owen needed him on the farm.
"Is there ______________ I might do to help?" C3P0 asked. Luke told him no, there was nothing he could do.
C3P0 asked Luke where they were. " Well, if there's a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet that it's farthest from," Luke answered.
"I see, sir," C3P0 responded.
"You can ______________ me Luke," said Luke.
"I see, sir Luke," C3P0 said.
Luke laughed. "No, just Luke."
Luke was ______________ R2D2, when he accidentally pushed a button, and a video projection started playing. It was Princess Leia. "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi," she said. "You're my only hope."
"Who is she?" Luke asked. "She's ______________."
Luke said he didn't know anyone named Obi-Wan Kenobi. But there was an old man ______________ Ben Kenobi, who lived alone. "Could they be related?" Luke wondered.
Luke wanted to ______________ the whole message. But R2D2 said he couldn't play the whole message, because of the restraining bolt. (A restraining bolt was something the Jawas had ______________ on R2D2 to stop him from running away.)
"I suppose you're too small to run away," Luke said, and he took off the restraining bolt. But even after the restraining bolt was ______________ off, R2D2 didn't play the whole message. Then Luke was called away to dinner by Aunt Beru.
"Just you reconsider playing that message for him," C3P0 said to R2D2. R2D2 beeped a question. "No, I don't think he ______________ you at all," C3P0 answered. R2D2 beeped again. "No, I don't ______________ you either," C3P0 said. R2D2 beeped sadly.
