Appointment Setter - Career with Call Storm
Job Overview:
We're looking for a talented Appointment Setter who can fill up our Sales Representative’s schedules by scheduling appointments.
Our sales team’s time is best spent in meetings with clients on Zoom, hence the main objective of the appointment setter is to book as many virtual appointments as possible for the Sales Representative to meet with.
All leads to dial on will be provided, so there will be no prospecting on your end. These also won't be cold calls.
The appointment setter’s job is to call clients (Life Insurance clients), have a conversation with them (scripts & training fully provided) and book an appointment based on a time appropriate for the client & the Sales Rep.
The purpose of the phone call is to book an appointment between the life insurance client and the Sales Rep.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Make calls to book appointments on provided leads
- Use our App properly to make detailed comments on leads to keep a record of the conversation with the clients
- Provide a daily end of day report on progress & Weekly report (MUST be sent by a deadline)
- Consistent communication with the representative & team during your working hours
- Target 20 appointments booked weekly, with a show up ratio above 60%
- 25+ dials every hour
- Complete our 3-step recruiting process (Interview, Mock Call & Training)
- Complete our 5-day accelerator training program (not paid)
- If hired, complete 1 day of observation with the team before starting calls (not paid)
Working hours: We recommend a 6-hour shift, 5 days a week, with a split of working weekdays & the weekend (Eg 3 weekdays + entire weekend OR 4 weekdays and 1 day on the weekend)
Note: times listed below are according to EST (Eastern Standard Time -Toronto)
Our Recommended schedule for maximum results:
Weekdays
8AM - 2PM EST
4PM-10PM EST
5PM-11PM EST

This schedule is designed to get you the required result, hence the schedule is flexible based on you, but the required weekly results need to be achieved.
MUST HAVE Qualifications (non-negotiables):
- Fluent in English
- Excellent active listening skills
- Punctual
- Able to be on Zoom virtually with video & mic on for the respective shift
- Excellent communication skills
- Coachable
- Results oriented
- Positive attitude
- Team player who enhances culture
- Handles rejection well (numbers game mentality)
- Strong work ethic
- High integrity
- Excellent internet connection (no disconnecting at all due to load shedding / must have a backup Ups/generator during the 6 hour shift)

- Fast cell phone (for calls/apps/emails) & laptop/tablet (for zoom)
