General Rules

  • Cabinets will be set to Free Play, and the tournament will be running in 2 player mode. Players will select the same song.
  • In the situation of a song in the card draw being not unlocked or MP locked, and the player is unable to play it via ticket/MP unlock, the player will use a TO card with everything unlocked and change their settings accordingly.
  • If you don’t own a song selected in your pool’s card draw, let the TOs know. The song can be rerolled if both players agree to it.
  • Players must verify that all play settings are correct before playing a song. In the event that a player has misconfigured their settings, the player must ask for a restart within 10 seconds of starting the song. Both players must consent to the restart, otherwise the song will be played as-is.
  • Players will step back from the cabinet and refrain from interacting with the game during the following points:
  • After settings check, before both players tap “Ready” (to allow both players to finalize settings);
  • After the chart concludes and the scorecard appears (to allow Tournament Organizers to record match results).
  • In the case that any event unfairly impacts a player mid-song, the Tournament Organizer may allow both players to replay a song. Game issue calls must be able to be immediately replicated.
  • Players may request cleaning of the input device at their discretion.
  • Once the songs for the pool/match have been locked in, watching other players is allowed, but remain at least 6 feet away to avoid distracting the players. Spectators must not stand in a place within the players’ peripheral vision. Players hold the right to ask spectators to step further away from the cab.
  • The Tournament Organizer reserves the right to interpret the ruleset at their discretion if instructions are unclear or vague.
  • All competitors must reset audio settings before the start of the tournament stream to prevent problems with streamside audio levels.
  • Volume for the music and all SFX must be set to 5 or lower. (Competitors can adjust volume level for SFX as they prefer as long as it is not higher than 5.)
  • Volume adjustments can be done on MyPage or on the cab at any time before the tournament.
  • If you are someone below the age of 18, please be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • If you are more than 5 minutes late to your match without advance notice, you will be disqualified from the tournament. Please try to arrive for your pool at least 15 minutes before its allotted time on the schedule.

Qualifiers

Qualifiers are meant to be played remotely, at the player’s own convenience. Qualifiers must be submitted before July 19th, 2026 by 11:59 pm EST.

Participants may play any three consecutive charts from the below choices in any order, but they must be played within the same set to be eligible.

Ex.)

 Hands / Goodbye Declaration / Wire&Ring = 🟢

(Three charts that are adjacent to each other)

Invisible / Shuffle Paradise 99 (Extreme) / Bababarabarababara = ❌

(Charts are not adjacent to each other)

A bonus modifier is applied to every song played within the qualifier set based on level. The formula for calculating qualifier scores is as follows:

Song 1 total score * 1.xx + Song 2 total score * 1.xx + Song 3 total score * 1.xx = Qualifier Total Score

Ex.)

Shuffle Paradise 99 (Abyss 18) - 983,048 * 1.18  = 1,159,996

Surges (Extreme 18) - 973,929 * 1.18 = 1,149,236

Bababarabarababara (Abyss 19) - 945,059 * 1.19 = 1,124,620

        Qualifier Total Score = 3,433,852

Tournament Day

The tournament will be split into these phases:

  1. Waterfall Round Robin
  2. Top 4 Double Elimination
  3. Grand Finals

Waterfall Round Robin

  • Each player will be placed in a pool of 4 players according to their seeding.
  • Pool 1 will have 4 players directly placed in it. Every subsequent pool will have 2 players directly placed in it alongside the winners of the previous pool.
  • Each player will play against every other player in their pool once in a Best of 3 head-to-head match using 2 player mode. Both players will hit “Dive” when ready.
  • The winner of each set is determined by Total Cumulative Points.
  • The higher seeded player will choose which cabinet to play on and will ban first in the card draw.
  • Chart selection will use the following format:
  • Players will agree on a determined level range for their set.
  • Players ban and protect until 3 songs remain on the card draw, determining their set.
  • If necessary, a tiebreaker chart will be determined by Random Card Draw.
  • A TO will use the card draw tool to randomly choose three songs that are within the player’s level range, and each player will choose one song to ban. Higher seed will ban first.
  • Placing within pools will follow the following criteria (numbering is to decide winners in case of a tie):
  • First: Total number of set wins
  • Second: Total number of song wins
  • Third: Result of match between the tied players
  • Fourth: Total Score of songs that were won
  • Once Pool 4 is reached, format changes to double elimination.

Top 4 (Double Elimination)

  • Chart selection will use the following format:
  • A card draw of 7 songs will be drawn, the specifics of this card draw will follow the weighting of the pool (these details are listed under the Level Ranges section)
  • Each player will be allowed to pick and ban any song they want from this card draw following this order (Player 1 is the higher seeded player):
  • Player 1 will ban a song
  • Player 2 will ban a song
  • Player 2 will pick a song
  • Player 1 will pick a song
  • Player 1 will ban a song
  • Player 2 will ban a song
  • The final remaining song is the Tiebreaker
  • Once players have their finalized set, they will play until whoever gets the point advantage.
  • If a tiebreaker happens it will result in a card draw.
  • The order on how Top 4 matches are handled:
  • First match will be First Seed vs whoever moved from Waterfall Pool
  • Winner will move on to Winner Finals and Loser will move to Loser Semi
  • Second match will be Second Seed vs Third Seed
  • Winner will move on to Winner Finals and Loser will move to Loser Semi
  • Third match will be Winner Finals
  • Winner moves on to Grand Finals and Loser goes to Loser Finals
  • Fourth match will be Loser Semi
  • Winner will move on to the Loser Finals. Loser will be eliminated.
  • Fifth match will be Loser Finals
  • Winner will move onto Grand finals. Loser will be eliminated except if the Loser is from Waterfall.
  • If the Loser wins Losers final and they originated from Waterfall, it turns into a bracket reset.

Bracket Reset (if needed)

  • A Bracket Reset is when a player from Loser’s Finals beats the player from Winners finals in Grands. The player coming from Loser’s Finals will have to win a second set to place 1st in the tournament.
  • The Bracket Reset match will be Best of 3 Cumulative, and whoever gets the highest score across 3 songs wins.
  • Level ranges for Bracket Reset will be 19 (35%) 20 (65%).
