Here at Forest Dental, we always aim to have satisfied customers, and consistently meet the expectations of our patients in the care and service we provide.

When complaints do arise, we aim to resolve the issues in an appropriate and timely fashion, according to the policy set out here.

Throughout any complaint handling procedure, the patient’s confidentiality is of utmost importance and is observed at all times.

We respect the individual's right to make a complaint and will ensure that they are in no way discriminated against as a result of raising their concerns.

In the unfortunate event that you wish to make a complaint, please speak to a member of staff at reception at the earliest possible occasion. You will then be directed to our Director Emily Brown who oversees all of our complaint handling procedures.

Complaints can be made verbally, over the phone or via email.

An acknowledgement of your complaint will be made within two working days of it being received.

At this point, a brief history of your complaint will be taken. Usually, some time will then be needed to investigate the complaint.

You should let our manager know if you do not want the treating dentist to be informed or involved at this stage.

We aim to resolve all complaints within ten working days from their receipt, but where the issue is likely to take longer to investigate, we will let you know at the earliest possible time, giving reasons for the expected delay.

You will then be contacted and given details of the findings of our investigation into the complaint, and invited to attend a meeting to discuss possible options for the resolution of the situation. Although we strive to provide satisfactory resolution for all complaints at the local level, if at this point you are not satisfied with the outcome of our complaint's procedure, you should contact one of the following bodies: -
