Q&A

What happen if a smasher who already won the previous saga wins another one?

The spot WILL NOT go to the 2nd place but instead will be forfeit and transfer to the leaderpoint qualification spots. That means if one smasher wins every singles saga, one smasher will earn an auto qualify while the other 19 must qualify via points.

Will the 2GGC be in the West Coast Only? Will it expand?

As of this moment, 2GGC will ba taking place in California and Nevada. Since this is our first event, we want to make sure we can run the entire series successfully and having it in our home base makes sense.

If the 2GGC is successful, we plan to expand region and worldwide in 2018.

Will each 2GGC be saga theme?

Yes. Every saga will still be theme just like before. Some upcoming sagas are Nairo and komorikiri saga.

If a new version of Smash gets release on the switch, will the 2GGC switch over to it?

The answer is depends. If it’s a direct port with new character and stages, then yes we will move over very likely. If it’s an entirely new game, it will be based on when the game is release as well as the community reception to it.

At the end, it’s up to the players and community if they want us to switch to the new version or not.
