Congratulations to both junior high girls basketball teams for their win last night against Hillsboro.

Attention RJHS students:

If you are interested in being a member on the Science Olympiad team, please see Mrs. Jett ASAP so she can send you the signup form where you indicate which events you would like to participate in.

The Learning Commons (library/LMC) is now hosting LOOK!

LOOK! encourages YOU to display your work to an audience so they can LOOK! at the awesome work you are doing.

All the pros have audiences so why shouldn't you?? "Work" is anything from artwork, classwork, etc. Amazing projects you have done in class? We will show that too!

You do NOT have to submit brand new work. If you have 'old' stuff, you can display or present that. CLICK HERE for details and information.

The information is also on the RjHS Learning Commons (library) website.

All participants are entered in drawings for gift cards.

Come on Rochester, let's do this! Be a part of something new and amazing that celebrates YOU!!

Attention Parents/Guardians of 8th grade students:

All students entering 9th grade next year are required to have a freshman physical turned in by September 4, 2018 that is dated within one year of the school start date. This physical should include a completed immunization record.  The physical form can be found on the district website or picked up in the junior high office.  Please remember to make your physical appointment now because they fill up quickly in the summer.

If you are taking your 8th grade student for a physical, then please remember that physicals performed after August 16, 2017 can count as both sports and their freshman physical when on the proper form. If a physical is completed on the IESA/ IHSA form it does not count as their freshman physical. Please contact the school nurse, Heather Arnold, RN, at 498-9761 ext 1004 or if you have any questions.
