- Explore Wormz and create a Wormz message using Skitched pieces of your template

- ALL classes at BMS are collecting writing samples from every student according to this schedule:
- The writing assignment must be at least ½ page on lined notebook paper (down to or below the middle hole punch), and must have the following heading in the top right corner of your paper
- Name: (First & Last)
- Date: Feb 22, 2017
- Grade: 7 or 8
- Subj: Tech Apps
- Topic: Please write about the process of completing our weekly warmups file in this class (as you might describe it to a new student, for example), which could include:
- How you find and open your weekly warmups file
- What the file looks like and what goes in each of the squares
- What types of activities we have done for warmups
- Which of those activities you like the best and why you liked them
- Which days of the week we do regular warmup activities
- What’s different about Friday’s warmup and why we do weekly reflections
- How you turn-in your warmups
- What you think of our warmups process and what you think might make the process better for all students
- This assignment is to be completed with your monitor turned off. You may turn it on again after your have turned in your ½ page of writing with the correct heading!
- Page 4: Wormz Wednesday
- Modify a Google Drawing template using these steps:

- Edit the Wordart to make some simple one or two word phrases and add a simple black-and-white image, like from this helmet search. Yours doesn’t have to be about sports though!

- Create your own Wormz message by following the directions in the video. It doesn’t have to be about sports. Record only about 10-15 seconds of it!

- Create a new Prezi and add a title and a Wormz video (screencast)
- Explore reusable Prezis in 4 core subjects areas and find examples for future use
- Practice using Weavesilk to make and capture cool original designs
- Page 5: Prezi Proof
- This page is only meant to show that you have created a Prezi account. If you haven’t created an account yet, follow these directions to create one:
- If you upload your video correctly, it should play in your Prezi like this, but if for some reason you have problems with the video, just add the text ‘Prezi Proof’ and Skitch it to your page anyway (so I can see you have an account):

- Skitch your Prezi Proof onto your page. It should show your name and look something like this example:

- Page 6: Explore reusable Prezis by subject area (these are free ready-made projects for you to copy and modify!)
- Find examples of Prezis in each of your core subject areas that you can copy and edit for your own presentations
- Take your time exploring these and find examples that you could really use in your classes!
- Here are some example searches:
- Create a page with 4 sections (one for each subject area), add a title, dividing lines, and subject area labels, and Skitch an example Prezi that you like in each section. Here’s my example with the the word Demo added to deter copying:
