Seabright, the charming McDougal House is for rent from June through September.  Feet from the water’s edge south of the Northeast Point, directly opposite Middle Mark, and with expansive views of the Sheepscot River.  Brilliant sunrises validate the name.  The main house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a wrap-around deck (half of which is screened in), and an expansive Great Room containing a dining area, living room, and kitchen.  It was completely renovated in 1999.  The “Crow’s Nest” a few steps up the hill was renovated in 2004 and contains another 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The ensemble sleeps 6 in beds (4 twins, 1 king), another 4 on 2 fold out couches, and 1 on a captain’s bench.  Rented by the week with a discount for monthly arrangements.  Contact Topher McDougal at clmcdougal@gmail.com.  (updated March 2017)
