ALDERLEY PARK,

CHELFORD, CHESHIRE.

12. Feb. 1918

Dear Mrs. de Laszlo,

Ld Beresford’s withdrawal is shabby and incomplete. He does not withdraw the statement of complicity with the enemy’s minister in S. America.[1]

I do not know when I shall come to London. I do hope your husband’s health will not suffer from all his worry.

[Page 2]

I think Ld Selborne[2] must have have a medical certificate to strengthen him in his interview with Sir G Cave.[3]

Yours sincerely,

Sheffield
