Dear Mr de Laszlo
I am very glad to hear the photograph of my husband’s picture [5990] is a success and am much looking forward to having the original.[1]
We get home on the 14th Oct. and my husband hopes to fetch the pictures between the 15th and 20th and will phone and arrange it with you from the Admiralty. I am glad you like the photo of my picture [5980].[2] With kind regards from us both to you, Mr de Laszlo

[2] De László painted two portraits of Lady Keyes. The first, which she rejected, was signed by the artist ‘Study / by de László’ [5978]. At her request, a second portrait was completed [5980].
