Flip Your Class: A Feasible Guide to Flipping Your Content
Click here to go back to the conference speaker page.
This workshop is for teachers and administrators looking to learn about real-life strategies for the flipped model. Utilizing social networking sites like Edmodo/Schoology, Twitter, Sophia.org, Google and YouTube, you can successfully flip your class, even without a lot of available technology in your classroom. You’ll leave with a fuller understanding of what the flipped classroom model is all about, as well as how you can accomplish this in every classroom.

Now, for devices:
1. If you are coming with a Macbook, we will be using Quicktime for screencasting and making our own videos, another app- but it is expensive is camtasia- otherwise Quicktime is free and preloaded on all Macbooks!
2. If you are coming with a tablet please install the following: free (touchcast, educreations, nearpod, adobe voice, Videoscribe Anywhere) *optional paid app- but you get what you pay for and I would get it if you are thinking about using a whiteboard app explain everything 3.99
3. If you are coming with a PC I am going to suggest we use screencastomatic.com (free) and/or if you have a google account and are familiar with installing chrome apps and extensions I would love for us to use WeVideo and/or Snaggit or even Jing by Techsmith.
