Eliminate discrimination

Respond to the cohort needs to enable all students and staff to access the premises and the curriculum.

  • Identification of cohort needs on an ongoing basis, particularly in respect to transition from Y4 to Y5 and new starters
  • Maintain an ethos where all members of the school whether staff or students are valued and respected as individuals. Students, staff and parents know that any misconduct will be challenged (behaviour policy, planner, staff handbook).
  • The School will make reasonable adjustments to meet the needs of disabled pupils and implement an accessibility plan aimed at:
  1. increasing the extent to which disabled pupils can participate in the curriculum;
  2. improving the physical environment of schools to enable disabled pupils to take better advantage of education, benefits, facilities and services  provided; and
  3. improving the availability of accessible information to disabled pupils.
