"Great localization

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great localization, Proximity of the metro station makes all the Rome within an easy reach. Clean, large and well equipped apartment.

"Unforgettable vacations in Rome”

I found the Key to Italy on internet. In comparison with other companies (I tried 2 other first) the communication was easier and faster. I appreciated that I wasn't required to pay in advance the whole amount as other companies requested. The Key to Italy offered the possibility of a car pick up and some excursions. We used the pick-up, which was very well organized. The flat is comfortable and very well located, about 150 m from the metro station and in 2 steps from Vatican museum. We found a supermarket just in front of the flat. I suppose there were others, but we happy with this one. The quarter is very nice.

This is a safe, clean and very comfortable accommodation. It was a great choice for the two of us (we had a very romantic week in Rome), but it can also host 3 or 4 people if necessary. It's equipped with all the furniture, techniques and other stuff you have at home, so after only a while, you begin to feel like you actually live there, and forget that you are a tourist :) which was a great feeling. Also, Bruno and Giovanni from The key to Italy were very helpful and professional, and also helped us feel like at home. The apartment is well decorated and cozy, so that after long walks and exhaustion caused by the city, it really serves you very well, like a kind of a rehabilitation. Everything was as expected - there were no unpleasant surprises. Actually, it was even better than described :). We recommend this apartment highly.

"A comfortable apartment close to the vatican”

We stayed here for 5 nights and found the company The Key to Italy to be helpful reliable and good value, with great communication throughout. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a king size bed and comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is just a few steps from the metro station Cipro and an easy 10 minute walk from the Vatican. Plenty of shops/ supermarkets/take aways/ cafes near by. We always felt safe in this area. We stayed with our two boys age 11 and 9 and would recommend it highly.

"Great apartment…”

The apartment was clean an comfortable about 100metres to the metro station and the 492 bus which goes to many of the key places of interest in Rome. It is an easy walk to the Vatican. We enjoyed being a little away from the tourist spots but with easy access. The Key to Italy was great to deal with for our booking and greeting. We felt very safe walking around the area of Cipro Metro and ate at several of the local restaurants.

"Great Location, Steps from Metro”

We recently stayed at the apartment at Via Cipro just seconds from the Metro station. It was very very clean, with 1 bedroom and a sleeper couch in the living room if needed. The kitchen was new, has a very new and nice bathroom, washer and internet. The pictures dont do it justice. It was very quiet, the aC worked great. Near two very nice restaurants, and 10 minute walking distance to Vatican museums. Easy access to the rest of the city, and in a residential area which eliminated the tourists, buses, loud evening noises. This is the way to stay, after a long flight from ORD, we hired a car from the FCO and was met early in the morning to get into the apartment. No waiting for hotel to clean your room and get in at 2 p.m. Only thing missing was a few wine glasses to enjoy all the great wines bought at a nearby store. They also arranged pick up and return to the airport, it may sound like a lot but when you are tired and not wanting to hassle with trains and Metro just do it... you will be more relaxed. will absolutely stay there again...

"Live in Rome (with all the mod cons)!”

Staying here was an ideal way to experience Rome. It is much cheaper than a hotel stay, with the added convenience of a kitchen, laundry and living/dining room. It was very well equipped (aircon/heater, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, detergent, towels, good wifi etc.), spacious and tastefully decorated, just like the photos. There's a ramp and (small) elevator. It is in front of a bus stop and next to the Cipro metro station - 1 metro stop away from the Vatican, and just a few more to the Spanish Steps and Termini station. It is on a main road and easy to get taxis, but you don't get any street noise in the apartment. It's only 15 minutes walk to the Vatican but not on the touristy side, so it's not congested with the usual tourists around Risorgimento and the shops/restaurants are cheaper. Post office and supermarket are nearby, too. I don't really have any complaints, but Rome has problems with mosquitoes in summer so don't forget your insect repellent! The apartment itself is on a high floor so there weren't many mosquitoes there. And it is really lovely, convenient and value for money. Key to Italy was well organised and provided wonderful service: Booking and payment was very easy and clear via email with Giovanni, who is very fluent in English. Check-in times were flexible, as long as we organised it in advance. A lady was waiting to meet us at the agreed time with the key and hopped into our rental car to help us find a parking spot (very difficult in the area!). She then helped with our bags and spent some time showing us the apartment and a map of the area. Nobody disturbed us during the week, and checkout was simple - we just had to leave the key inside. However, I foolishly left a valuable item behind, and Tiziana from the office took the time to look for it and offered me different postage options without even charging any admin costs. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Rome, which I hope will be longer than a week! Thank you!!

"Lovely Modern apartment”

Giovanni was at the apartment to great us and show us around when we arrived even tho it was at 10pm! Very good service :) Apartment is about a 10 mins walk from the Vatican. Nice quiet area. Supermarket is a 5 min walk to stock up on the essentials. A few restaurants around but there are more on the way to the Vatican. Apartment has everything you need. Great having a kitchen to have breakfast before heading out for the day of sightseeing. One day it was raining and we arrived back soaked but there was a clothes horse so our clothes were dry by the morning. something you wouldnt have access to in a hotel. Tv stations are all in Italians but sure you wouldnt have time to watch them anyways! Apartment is on the 7th floor and the lift is quiet small only fits 4 people. Metro Cipro is right next door and it only costs 1 euro to Termini station. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

"Great apartment in the perfect location”

I stayed here with my mother and we were both very impressed with the apartment. Giovanni, the agent for the apartment was very helpful and welcoming, the apartment itself was well equipt and nicely furnished. everything was spotlessly clean and the area was a nice, safe area walking distance to the Vatican and literally a 1min walk from the Line a metro station- a great place to stay in Rome. Just a shame there was no kettle in the kitchen!

"A Wonderful Experience!”

Great base for Rome vacation! Very clean and equipped apartment , 50 meter from metro station 'Cipro' and 15 minutes walking distance from San Pietro square. We was rent it for 5 nights and was very satisfied. Good value for money! Very simple procedure for check in/out. Giovanni (Key to Italy) was explained us about apartment, area ,answered to all our questions and give tips about mini markets and restaurants . I would definitely stay again!

"Clean, Convenient, Cosy and Metro accessible”

Rome was a bit hot/humid those days, but the aC worked perfectly, which seems to be a non-obvious thing in Rome. It is right by the metro which makes it really convenient. We even did a day trip to Florence and came back at night. I wish there were more kitchenwares available (pyrex, a big knife etc).. but still we had a couple of nice meals at home. With all those nice restaurants in Rome, you don't want to cook at home.

"Exactly as on the pictures.”

We've stayed (the couple with 2.5 years son) in this apartment for a whole week. First of all, when you travel with the child - it is safe to make deal with the key to italy. We paid 30% before through the pay pal, and I have some thougths, what if.. But everything was exactly as on the picture, no lie. What I liked: The apartment is new inside. Good building. Everything works properly: hot water, gas, air condition and so on. Good beds, good towels, good apartment with a lot of space. Free wi-fi. What I didn't like: The fully equiped kitchen doesn't include electric kettle and microwave. We all slept all nights, without that feeling of new place, including my son, that from the first night was sleeping all over the night .

"Perfect position and very comfortable”

We rented the apartment through The Key To Italy and thanks to Giovanni's excellent attention to our booking we spent a very comfortable 3 nights in Rome. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us - an easy walk to the St Peter's/Vatican area and the Metro stop nearby made the rest of historic Rome readily accessible. The shops in the streets around the apartment had everything we needed to cater for ourselves, but there were also some nice restaurants within easy reach.
