Field Use Rules
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

After our players, coaches, and volunteers fields are our biggest resource.  Without fields, Parsippany SC teams would have to rely on their own ingenuity to practice and play.  Thanks to the efforts of our members and community supporters, PSC is able to provide field space throughout the Township for our kids to play and practice on. But like all things that are provided, it’s a matter of pride and ownership for our players and coaches and parents to help take good care of the fields they use.

SAND BAGS OR ANCHORS MUST BE USED ON ALL GOALS FOR PRACTICE OR GAMES AT ALL FIELDS. IT IS THE COACH'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THIS.

Fields/Goals - If you arrive at the field and see other equipment such as lacrosse and/or field hockey goals on the turf, please remove by lifting and carrying a safe distance from the soccer field of play.  PLEASE DO NOT DRAG ANY GOALS ACROSS THE TRACK OR TURF!  You will need to move the soccer goals into place.

In lieu of weights, goals are anchored by bracket located at bottom of goal posts.

AFTER YOUR MATCHES, PLEASE REMOVE THE SOCCER GOALS FROM THE TURF AND RETURN THEM TO WHERE YOU FOUND THEM.

PARKING - PLEASE TELL YOUR PARENTS TO PARK IN DESIGNATED SPACES ONLY.  If it’s not lined, it’s not legal.

Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in PSC losing the permit for this field. Your cooperation is required, otherwise we will lose the permit.

CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL

Use of Middle Field Small Sided – Goals MUST BE REMOVED FROM FIELD OF PLAY OF BASEBALL FIELDS.  Goals must be moved back to lower field after use on middle field.

NO PARKING IN CEMETERY DRIVEWAY!  NEVER!  NO EXCEPTIONS!  If you see someone there, please ask them to move immediately.

SMITH FIELD (Small Sided)

We have moved another set of small goals to the turf at Smith Field.  We are hoping to avoid the problems we had last year which requires your full cooperation.

The SMALL GOALS MAY NOT BE LEFT ON THE TURF AFTER PSC MATCHES OR TRAINING.

EACH SET OF GOALS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE TURF AND PLACED ON THE BLACK TOP (NOT THE GRASS) AND LOCKED.  They should be placed to the sides of the bleachers.

Each set of goals has one lock.  Both Combinations are 1-9-7-3.

PLEASE DO NOT SHARE COMBINATION WITH ANYONE!  ONLY COACHES and MANAGERS SHOULD HAVE THE COMBINATION.

When goals are not locked together please make sure each lock is secured on one of the goals to avoid losing them.

If you are one of the last teams training at Smith, coordinate with other coaches to arrange goal removal and storage.  To determine if you are the last team on the field, use common sense (is another PSC team waiting to get on) or check the schedule on our website.

If you arrive at Smith and see small goals left on the field or the grass, please notify me.

If we do not follow these procedures, we run the risk of the Township putting the goals back in the pen and we will lose access to the turf for small sided use.

We need this field for small sided use, so we need your full cooperation.

VETERANS

No warming up on the grass and no chairs on the turf.  All spectators should be on or behind the red.

Central Park Field 1 (Small Sided)

When goals are not locked together please make sure each lock is secured on one of the goals to avoid losing them.
