AutoBackup and AutoAwesome
Mobile App
A big reason to use G+ in the classroom is the really awesome feature called, #Autoawesome. In short, it's an animated gif feature built directly into Google+ photo albums. All you need to do is install the free Google+ app on your mobile device and enable Autobackup of photos and videos on login. Then take pictures of anything with movement in succession (works best with 8 pictures or more). After a few (minutes or hours depending on your file size and connection speed) Google processes all of your photos in your private photo album, and it will combine your photos taken in bursts to create an animated gif out of them. You can then easily insert the link to those images from Picasa or Google+. Here are a couple of examples from a recent field-trip:
IV. Events
- Plan a Hangout
- Join an Event
- Create an Event
- Comment
- Add photos

- PLC is a group of people that agree to meet and share about a particular topic (ie, Assistive Technology)

- use a quiet location or mute your mic
- use headphones (and external mic if possible)

- The bandwidth setting determines what type of video quality the user will send, but not what the other person receives. A user will receive HD video whenever it is available, regardless of the bandwidth setting. HD is 720p. https://support.google.com/hangouts/answer/2979333?hl=en
