Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;  but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28

CCCMS boys volleyball team has been enjoying an action packed week against some of the league’s best teams and getting wins. The Cougars started the week with a road contest at SRVCA. The team struggled in each set but eventually defeated the Eagles in three (3) sets 22-25, 26-24, 15-9.

The following afternoon, CCC hosted the talented North Creek Knights. The Knights struggled to come up with answers to ace serving by Cebrian Carter and Richard Reed, kills by Arie Padmos, Christian Carter and Reed, blocks by Padmos and Bradley Morris. The Cougars dropped the hammer on North Creek in straight sets, 25-15, 25-19.

On Wednesday afternoon, the B team also played the Knights in one set and took the victory, 25-22.  Serving stats were very high for Ethan Faber with several aces to start the match. Kudos to Isaac Marquez and Dominic Guerra who also did a great job with serving. A strong team effort was displayed by everyone!

CCC will host Calvary Temple today for a game at Oak Park Christian beginning at 3:30 pm. GO COUGARS!
