Introduction to Painting

Enduring Understandings: Students will understand how to use the elements of design and principles to create a 14 x14 inch color wheel design. Students will implement the use acrylic or watercolor on paper. Quality painting techniques using a variety of brushes will be used to create the final piece. The final design will be graded on the use of composition, emphasis, overlapping, leading lines, detail observation to smooth color blends and shapes.
