The adventures of Josh James Olives

It’s Saturday morning. The sun was rising from the pond behind my house. Bird singing as I start to open my eye. I walked out of the bed and pushed the button under the bed. My bed start to fold up toward the wall. Today is quite quiet, it’s 7:30 now, “Mr. Red-Haired” should start shouting at his kids, why is it so quiet? I walked pass my little sister garden of LAYS and I walked out to the calm wind.

“Dad!” I shouted. I can’t hear myself! Why can’t I hear! I already wear my cochlear, didn’t I? I found out why I can't hear, I forget my cochlear! I sped up the elevator to the third floor again to look for my cochlear. It’s charging inside my bed. I open the bed from the bottom and pulled out my cochlear. Nasty cochlear, have been hiding in here all night. I walked down the stair and my sister start to complain.

“You wear that nasty “fight for trees” shirt again!” She shouted, “why don’t you wear the garden uniform instead. I told you it looks a lot better than this.”

“Where is dad?” I pretended that I didn’t heard her, her face were like rotten egg. It felt smelly.

“No, no, no. Do not do that little jolly molly! It’s an..” I didn’t finish my sentence, and Jolly start to shoot water out of her eyes.

“Noooo!” I screamed like what girl does when they realize that they didn’t put makeup on their face to come to school “Why does you kept making flood in the house! I don’t want to sweep all of the water outside into the pond again! . Ok, ok, I will change to my garden uniform. “

Jolly stop crying and look at me like I’m the nicest guy in the world. Oh no! Dad’s coming, I don't want to sweep water!  I don’t understand why Jolly have this special power to shot water but I don’t.

“James? What are you doing?” dad sounded like he has seen all of the flood happening.

“Oh, nothing” I answered. I pretend that I didn’t see the flood at all.

Dad puts his and on his head like he has got a headache. I look around for “Sunny day headache cream which will help you every time you’ve got a headache!” But I can’t find one. I look back at dad and OH My, all the water was out. The floor was not even wet like nothing has happen at all.

“How did you do that?” I asked looking at dad.

“Do what? I didn’t do anything.” Dad answered. “Ask Jolly”

“It was this big plant coming up from the carpet and it swallowed all the water!” Jolly said

“What?” I was confused, no one use their sense and a giant plant just come up. It couldn’t been me, I don’t have special power, I’m just an orphan kid the Olives family get from outside their door.

“What are you saying? Boy!” Dad said.

“No I didn’t say anything!” I said

“You is not an orphan, your mother is Mrs. Olives and your father is me! Don’t you see your special power?”

“No?” I interrupt.

Dad was getting angry. “ That plant, it’s yours! It was with y………” Dad didn’t finish his sentence. “Peep Peep Peep” The cochlear start to rang. Oh, low battery again.

I was about to walk up to charge it when dad handed me another cochlear. He was trying to say something to me but I can’t hear him, so I grabbed the cochlear and put it on my ear. I didn’t even turn it on yet and dad pulled it out of my ear. He close his eyes and I did too. “Use it only for an emergency.” pop out of my head. I answered dad back “How did you do that?” And I realized that I can do it too.

“I’ve got special power, special power!” I shouted as loud as I could because I can’t hear myself.

I charged up my cochlear and walk out to the forest with dad.

“James, I’ve somebody for you to see.” dad said. He walked into the woods and out with another guy whose look totally like him..

“You have a twin?” I asked dad without looking at the different between their age..

Dad look like he is freaking out. Like he didn’t expect me to know that.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t meant to say that.” I told dad

“Anyway, my name is Jonish.”  The dad twin like guy said. “I will spend my summer with you”

“What?” I asked

“So, I need to tell you this.” Dad sign.

Jonish start to explain. “There was a big problem which is ruining Malibu. A guy, name Duke Dans Muffin poisoned all the plants in Malibu and to solve this we need to get the secret potions which was last founded in Sari Hut Inc. and it’s in..” he didn’t finish his sentence when dad interrupted

“On mount Everest, and in this case I’m too old to use my power. I can’t go to the place anymore, so I’ll sent you! And because you never know how to fight, I will send Jonish with you. That’s all. Now, you can go pack your bag. We will fly off at midnight.” Dad said With the strongest and most formal sound dad ever have.

“Why don’t we just let other people do it? Why is it us? I don’t understand this. You are just send me out to a mountain to get this crazy potions? And go without you but with a guy I never knew?” I asked dad. It’s like he don’t want me to stay.

I don’t understand this nonsense thingy but I still needa pack. I looked at the clock, it’s ten minute before midnight and dad still didn’t prepare the car yet.

“Everybody on board!” Dad shouted. “And don’t forget your cochlear and the charger!”

Where is the “board”? He didn’t have his car out and he is hugging the hill of lays. Dad always do that when it looks like he smokes. I didn’t walk into the hill of lays until some smoke kept coming out of the pile likes when it looks like dad smokes. I ran forward to the lays and it start to move up. The ceiling start to lift up as I jumped and hug dad. Jonish was squishing between us.

Seconds later we arrived at the train station. Dad said he would take the train home.

“Take this.” Dad said handing me and Jonish the flying scooter we just used. “It’s name is Olies. Wear this, and everywhere you go, Olies will travel with you. “ He handed me a blue ruler.

I put it on my risk my body start to vibrates like waves. I thought that the ruler is a bit like barbie “Spy Squads” Jolie watch on mashflix.com. But now is not the time to worry about that. Dad bought the tickets for him to go home and for us to do take off.

“This is your tickets. You give it to the guy there.” Dad said as he jumped up the train and it, in light speed took of from the station.

We walked pass the tickets box and toward a gold ticket box which was lable “take-off”

“Is it that one? The one with a guy?” I asked Jonish. Just in a few minute after we met. I felt that I know him since I born and it felt like he knows me. His warm eye, his cute nose, his short straight hair, and his sharp big eyes are like somebody I knew. Dad……  

We walked to the guy which I recognize was MIss-Ter . Red-haired. What was he doing here? I just heard him scream at his kids when I woke up like an hour ago and he wouldn’t be able to get here that soon because by the way, dad said only people that have flying scooters ( Normally called Good people ) can come to this station in the middle of nowhere. He only can come if he had a flying scooter.

“ Mr. Weasley?” I asked the guy in the counter.

“Excuse me. I am Duke swamp. Not Mr. Weasley!” The guy shouted back.

Again that I felt like the person doesn’t want me to know that. I didn’t say sorry for him because I was looking for “take-off” spot. The place behind him were completely full with garbage.

What’s your name?” Swamp asked.

“Uh, Josh James Olives?” I answered him.

He jumped up from his chair a bit and pretend to be normal again.

“Where is the take-off spot?” I asked Jonish and pulled my bag up ready to go.

“Be calm boy.” Duke Swamp answer. “You know Harry Potter? He walk through the wall. Here, we walk through the garbage.”

‘Eewww!” I yelled.

“When we take off from the garbage. The waste in the garbage will automatically we used as an energy source.” Duke said.

“And when it transform to energy, the waste are gone?” I asked

“Yes”  Duke said.

Duke is really an expert at environment. I seems like he cares a lot about the environment. We walk into the hill of lays because Olies only use lays as an energy source. Jonish was in the front and I was hugging him. He press the blue button and the scooter start its engine.

“ To mount everest!” Jonish shouted.

Olies start to fly and all the world went blue. In a Olies arrived at this white place. All white. Snows! It was so cold up on the mountain Olies engine start to freeze. Jonish click a red button and a crystal sheet just pop out covering me, Jonish and Olies. Suddenly I heard something. Karaoke? I look up and saw this huge pink unicorn building which by the way called Sari Hut Inc. I have no idea what this is.

“Why are we stopping at a exquisite karaoke place?” I asked

“It is NOT a karaoke place. It is where we are going to get the potion!” Jonish answer as he push on the unicorn leg.

The unicorn’s mouth start to drop and a ladder fall down from it. A girl in unicorn uniform walking down the stair

“Who are you? What are you guys doing here?” The lady asked.

“We are looking for the potion that kills the potion of plantions.” Jonish answer the lady because now, I know nothing but to follow him.

“Ok, do you have something to tell that you’re not a thief?” The lady ask

Jonish stared straight at the sky and it start to rain. He looks at the lady and stared at the sky again to stop the rain.

“Ok, follow me.” The lady said. “My name is Sari unicorn Butterfly.”

“Uhh, I’m Jonish and this is James.” Jonish said.

We both look at the lady nervously and follow her up the unicorn building.

“So, why do you need the potion? Little boy back there.” Sari asked

“Uhh, to help the world? From all plants dying and no oxygen left?” I answered but was not expecting the question.

“Please measure your high so we can quickly make you a ultra clean uniform before entering the working station.” Sari said

She pointed at the gray stadiometer. Jonish walked and take off his shoe and stand on the stadiometer.

“150 c.m.” Sari said to herself. “Your turn. James?”

I take of my shoe and stand on the stadiometer. 120 c.m. Jonish is 30 c.m taller than me. Wierd! I turn back again and Sari eyes went red. I thought she’s kind? The door banged. Sari walked in with a knife. THe stadiometer was locking me. No hope.

“What are you doing!” I shouted

“If you say the potion will save the world. I should be the one who save it, the hero. So long I tried to make the world a better place, so building up this flower factory. But no one even cares about me. Today I will be the hero, not you! Mhua-ha-ha-haaa!” Sari shouted as my eardrum start to explode. “No one can help you. Nothing can help you. So long I wait for today. Mhua-ha-ha-ha!”

“No way you would be the hero if you couldn’t even care about two kids!” I just randomly shout words that have meaning

Sari paused for a second and the bad side cover her again. AS she walks away, it felt more lonely.

“Jonish?” I couldn’t hear Jonish throughout our conversation. “Jonish!”

There are no sound of jonish replying instead was a “Bang! Crash!” Sound. It come from the door! I thought of dad for a second. “Wear this, and the scooter will always come back to you.” Is it the scooter? How about Jonish? Anything, help me! The door was broken down by absolutely the scooter and Jonish! I don’t understand how he gets out there but I know we need to get out of here and don’t let that Sari be the bad hero! Somehow the plan doesn’t work. We failed since the first scene. As we dash through the unicorn mouth there were sound everywhere, and it was terrified pee start to fall down my pants.

“What’s that” I asked Jonish.

“Absolutely something dangerous.” Jonish reply.

I was about to say thank you for Jonish super useful answer and something white and shiny march through the door towards us.

“Fly!” I said.

Olies the scooter somehow manage to shrink all of us to a micro usb and dash through the thing

“YYYYetiiiii!” Jonish shouted and his voice sound like he is gonna melt down somehow. “I don’t like Yeti, nor this scooterrrrrr!”

We didn’t get pass the Yeti, and it grabbed me with it furry white hair which looks to me like a carpet room.. Olies fly straight through the Yeti, but she come back because my wrist ruler.

“Help!” I shouted

Oxygen start to My size start to unshrink and I kicked the Yeti. Jonish run and kicked the Yeti till it falls to the floor. Another big plant which was considered my special power popped up from the ground and swallowed the Yeti out of the view

“Yeah!” I shouted to Jonish who was riding on the scooter again. Jonish have something special to link himself with Olies.

I ran up the scooter and we head out of the unicorn. Sari already went.

“We can’t stop her.” I said. “What do we do?”

“It’s not done yet. We still can beat her up.” Joins cheer me up.

“Then we need to go. Now!” I told Jonish and start the engine of olies.

 I could know that Olies was going as fast as she could because after 10 minute we can see Sari driving through Malibu straight to the news centre. Jonish pushes Olies engine even faster but it’s too hard that Olies start to slow down.

“ What happen?” I asked.

“I think we need to stop.” Jonish said.

“But we just found her!” I said.

“But what can we do?” Jonish told me.

“I still don't know what we can do but I need to fight. Remember? It’s not done yet. “ I don’t know what I said but I think it’s good. As Olies stop, I start to beat her up.

“Help me please, JOnish.” I grabbed the engine.

“We can’t beat her, can’t you hear?” Jonish shouted at me.

“I said we can. It’s NOT DONE YET!” I shouted at Jonish. There’s no hope. Jonish don’t listen to me. He gave up. I start to ran after Sari. She’s not far away. Just a few kilos. I told myself. Just after a few minute, my eyes start to close because of the sun. Splash! I tripped. It’s like I died. I open my wide and OMG! My leg was cut open to the bone. It felt like I was going to die. I look behind me, the plants in Malibu all have mouth and hand. The one right behind me pulled it’s hand out and grabbed me.

“Joins!” I cried. But Jonish didn’t come. He’s gone, and forever. I don’t want give up, but I don’t know what to do. No one can help me……….. Except myself. I pushed my leg out of the  plant and headed of to Sari. And I’m not to stop her, but to tell her to quickly puts the potions on to the plants. Sari is doing the right thing. But only if she doesn't think that nobody notice her. I was running up after her when I saw a guy walking towards her. He is totally Mr.Red-haired. But what is he doing here?

“I told you to go away.” I heard Sari shouted.

“I can’t go without you. I love you. My gorgeous girl” Red-haired who’s considered Dell Duke  said

“But I hate you! You are the one who stole my potion of plantions and put it on my plants and these plants on the road!” Sari shouted. What is she talking about? She knows who did this? But why doesn’t she told us so we can stop Him? I don’t have time to think much and Duke start to talk.

“I did it for love. You never look at me, you never notice me. You never knows why i did it, and I’m telling you. Because…” He didn’t finish his sentence when the cops arrive. They just come and locked him and pull him out from Sari.

“I love you Sari. I will only love you. Forever until the day I died from you!”Duke shouted as the cops closed the door and drove off the street.

 I looked at Sari and she’s crying. As I walked up to her, she looks really sad. I was to touch her and I tripped! My cochlear fall of. I was grabbing my cochlear when I heard something. I heard something without a cochlear!

“Help her James, do it for me. If you help her, she will help the world! She have the potions! Help her, now!” Something said. It was totally not human because I can't hear human. Talking bird? Fawkes?

“What are you?” I asked it using mind massage.

“I’m the plant in you! You don’t cares about me, do you?” It asked me

“If you said your the plant in me. I thanks you for help me from the flood. It’s you right?” I send another mind massage.

“Yes, you always said you don't have power, and every time you said that, I died.

“If you love him, just tell him. And remember, you is a hero. Put the potions on the plant and help the world. You are the hero, not me.” I told her.

“I don’t need you to told me!” Saru shouted at me. I paused for a second and she said

“Thank you for your help. I really don’t know what to do. He’s in jail already!”

“No, he’s not. He’s only on the way!” I cheered her. “We can deal with the cops to give him back and give them the potions!”

“What a brilliant plan!!” Sari said.

We quickly drove to pick up Jonish and head to the cops.

You knows what happen, right? We bring Duke back and  I understand why dad sent Jonish with me. So I can….”Peep, Peep, Peep.” Opps! My cochlear ran out of battery. AGIAN!
