Sir,

 

I am directed by the Secretary of State to inform you that he is prepared, in pursuance of the Act 33 & 34 Vict., Cap. 14, to grant a Certificate of Naturalization to Philip Alexius Laszlo de Lombos (known as Philip de Laszlo) on receipt of the appointed Fee of Two Pounds.[1]

 

The fee – which should be paid forthwith – may be paid personally at the Home Office between the hours of 12 and 3 o’clock, in which case this letter should be brought for the purpose of reference; or it may be forwarded by post in the envelope addressed “The Under Secretary of State, Home Office, London, S.W.” If sent by post, payment should be sent by Post Office Order or Postal Orders in favour of The Accounting Officer, Home Office, payable at the Charing Cross Post Office, and crossed “Bank of England: Account of Paymaster-General.” Cheques cannot be accepted.

 

The Certificate will be forwarded to you in the course of a few days after the receipt of the fee.

 

If there is a delay in the payment of the fee, the applicant may be required to comply with further conditions before the Certificate is issued.
