TABLE TALK

Special Pavlova Issue

Table Talk, which is on sale today, is a special Pavlova number and contains a double page of exclusive and exquisitely beautiful photographs of the great dancer in classic poses and costumes. In addition, L. F. Reynolds gives some impressions in black and white of the ballet.

“Wifflers have caught on. An enormous response greeted the invitation in last weeks Table Talk to take part in this amusing diversion, and ín Table Talk today the two prize winners are announced, together with many of the humorous and ingenious attempts.

An innovation in the current number is a page devoted to special topical articles to which contributions are invited. An interview with Pavlova and a specially interesting article on the charm of J. M. Barrie will delight everyone.

Pictorially Table Talk is a complete record of the weeks social and sporting functions. Excellent and exclusive pictures of the M.C.C. tennis tournament; school swimming sports, Associated Trustee, Companies sports day, Caulfield races, public school cricket are published, while a page of photographs of the new autumn fashions is a feature that will appeal to women.

Notable pictures, too, are photographs of the two wonderful portraits by de Laszlo of Lord and Lady Stradbroke [7211][7213], which have recently been hung in the National Gallery.

Readers are advised to secure their copy of Table Talk today, as the issue is likely to be sold out early.
