Utilize a balloon, baking soda,vinegar and test tube. Students will identify items as solid, liquid and gas. Record the reaction of the baking soda and vinegar causing the balloon to inflate on its own. The mixture of baking soda and vinegar creates carbon dioxide which inflates the balloon Sing Song: 3 States of Matter | - What are the three states of matter? - How did the water change? - Which two states of matter were used to create another state of matter? |
