2024 Conditions of Booking

The Village Hall has an emergency payphone (located in the kitchen) because of the lack of mobile coverage.

1. Broadband is available, internet safety is the responsibility of the hirer.

2. The hirers must make themselves aware of the enclosed fire and catering information.

3. The maximum occupancy figure for the whole premises must not exceed 130 people.

4. The centre section of the stage moves. To be locked the bolts must NOT be in the red position.

5. Alcoholic drinks cannot be sold without a licence. The hirer is responsible for enforcing the under 18 drinking law.

6. No Smoking. No Candles or naked flames. No dogs except guide dogs.

7. Children are not allowed on the stage unaccompanied.

8. Accidents must be recorded in the accident book. Any problems must be brought to the attention of a committee member

9. Music to cease at 11.45pm. No commercial music on Sunday.

10. Parking: do not obstruct gateways or the highway.

11. Leave the hall in a quiet, respectful manner and return the key to the keyholder.

12. Please note the upstairs rooms do not have disabled access.

13. The hall must be left on time, clean and tidy. The last person out must check electric appliances and taps are turned off, and all doors are secure, before leaving.

14. Please return all furniture to its original site.

15. Please take all your rubbish away with you.

16. The village hall committee reserves the right to refuse usage without explanation and also the right of entry at any time.

17. Arrangements for opening and closing the hall must be made through the bookings officer.
