You can use the RTI Online Portal to request information from public authorities—such as documents, file notings, circulars, timelines, correspondence, meeting minutes, and action-taken reports.

How to file:

  3. Select the relevant public authority (e.g. NTA, Ministry of Education, NMC, etc.).
  4. Write your questions clearly and submit the application.
  5. Pay the ₹10 application fee (if applicable).

If you witness police action or an important public event:

  • keep original photos/videos,
  • note the date, time, and location,
  • avoid editing the files,
  • back them up securely.
