My Pauli –
My train arrives at Shawford 6.58. Tomorrow (Saturday.) It is very late, I’m afraid too late for you to come to meet me – But came down early in the morning (Sunday) to Breakfast.
[Page 2]
You see, I want to be with Daddy[1] in the afternoon, there is the reason I am coming so late. But I shall stay 2 night till Monday – as I want to see as much of you as I can – Shall we walk on the water meadows?
Much love
Mummy.
